Excellent for Plus Size!
I previously ordered the Stretchy the Clown costume through BuyCostumes.com. I normally wear a 26/28 and even a 30 in some cases so costuming of any kind is usually problematic. The Clown costume was so ROOMY that I didn't hesitate to order this costume for my Pirate Party. The blouse was extremely big and would even call it roomy - and the vest had a unknowingly velvet stretch back so it fit like a glove and could've stretched more. I really didn't think the boots would fit because in the real world there are no true PLUS-Size boots but even the boot covers went all the way up to my knees. I will admit I didn't even try the pants on - because I already had a pair of slacks I wanted to wear with my costume but they were the same stretchy material as the back of the vest so I'm sure wouldn't have been a problem! Also the quality of everything was extremely well made and it came in a great garment bag that will allow me to store it well for reuse at another time!! I would highly recommend this costume for any girl looking for a cute and comfortable costume!!! 5 Stars all the way!

Wonderful Costume
I received many compliments while wearing this costume. Fit very well and well-made. I ended up not wearing the pants that came with it but my own black stretch pants - for comfort factor only. The costume pants were fine, but 'shiny' and not the look I wanted. Otherwise, a great costume!

This costume was great at my daughters themed Halloween party. I was surprised at the quality and the price due to I thought it wouldnt last the night and it did. It is made so great that I can save it for next year and re-use it again if I wanted too.

- Dec 14, 2009The costume is great, high quality perfect fit and fun. I let myself down as the costume was on sale and I did not take advantage of it. I later purchased the costume when it was not on sale. That was to no fault of costume.com this was all my fault. However, with that being said the costume still was an affordable price. Delivery was on time and costumer service outstanding. Due to your excellent customer service I have referred your site to two other friends. They both use costume.com.

I bought this costume for my 21st birthday, went to Disneyland for there halloween celebration everyone was dressed up. I did not see my costume on any other, saw many from the website they all looked great. Will most def buy a costume from you guys every halloween!

it fit and looked great!
5.5ft, 290lbs, ordered the 3x and it all fit! good quality costume, easily rewearable. i ended up using my own black leggings, pinned the boot toppers onto them to keep them up... i also pulled down the yellow blouse further than shown in the advert picture (to cover my tummy) so added a bit of black lace to cover my bra. i ordered the captains hat to go with the outfit - that wasn't quite as good quality for the price, but it still looked great and came with a burgundy tie, not the white/black one shown - which actually went better with this outfit. the whole pirate outfit was very comfortable, i felt confident in it and i received several compliments. i ordered the express UPS service to get the shipment quickly to canada and it got here the next day! at the halloween party i went to, there were several different outfits from this site and they all looked good - including the grecian goddess - also lovely on a larger lady! prompt service, quality outfit - i'll definitely shop here again

Wow...it fit!
I am a big girl and most "plus size" costumes are simply too tight. I bought the 3X and it fit perfectly without pinching or binding. Since I have very large calves I also expected to boot tops to be too small and they look great! This is a very good quality costume and I will be comfortable and stylish this Halloween! I highly recommend this to any “big” girl that wants a great costume to join in on the fun.
